I begin a collaboration having an intense dialogue with the commissioner, the architect and the future user. I seldom look upon a work as mine
alone, but as a result of the interaction that emerges between us in the developing process.
I am happy to take up collaboration with churches concerning the practical aspects of a work; for example assist parishioners, if they want to sew
or embroider a chasuble, which I have designed.
